Shipping FAQ

When will my order ship?

Orders ship in 1-3 business days unless delayed delivery date is specified.  Most gifts ship within 24 hours after your order is received. Our gifts are carefully packaged and made-to-order, often with custom details and handwritten notes.  We strive to get all orders shipped as quickly as possible, but during peak Holiday gift season, gifts may take longer to ship.

During Holiday peaks, shipping and delivery times can vary. Some shipping providers periodically experience delays past their usual timeframe and neither they, nor we, can guarantee the shipping times.  Our preferred shipping partner is FedEx as we believe them to be the most reliable. We recommend that when shipping to destinations when the weather is above 75 degrees, that all chocolate is shipped with overnight or 2-day service.  High Note Gifts is not responsible for melted products due to longer shipping times, but does ensure everything is packaged to keep the products integrity within a 1-2 day ship time.  Please contact us with any specific questions. 

What shipping carriers do you use?

We offer a variety of shipping options at checkout with USPS, UPS, and FedEx.   All gifts shipped to a P.O. Box are shipped USPS.  

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Shipping times from Nashville, TN from the date shipped to date of arrival are estimated as follows:

  • FedEx Ground/UPS Ground/USPS Priority - 1 to 4 business days
  • FedEx 2-Day - 2 business days

You will always receive an email notification when your gift has shipped, along with the tracking number so you can ensure it arrives to you or your recipient.

Shipping times DO NOT include the order PROCESSING time that it takes us for us to get the gift packaged and dropped off to the carrier which can be 24-48 hours during non-peak times and potentially longer during peak holiday shipping times. 

In the event of holiday delays, bad weather, natural disasters, and other uncontrollable events that may affect shipping services, your shipment may be delayed by the carrier. We do our very best to make sure your gift is delivered on time, but once it leaves our warehouse, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier and we have very little control over their ability to get it there in a timely manner. We're not responsible for carrier delays, lost, or stolen items.  If there is an issue with a package not arriving, we will be happy to help in any way we can, so we encourage you to contact us, but appreciate your understanding that we are also at the mercy of our shipping partners.

We are occasionally provided with the wrong or incomplete shipping addresses during the checkout process.  If we notice the error up front, we will contact you to resolve prior to shipping.  Otherwise, we will ship exactly as the address is entered on your order confirmation.  Any packages that need to be re-routed or re-shipped due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided are subject to a $16 handling fee.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

We offer multiple gift shipping during the checkout process which allows for you to send multiple gifts to varying addresses. You can select a date for each gift to arrive, and include a complimentary handwritten gift note as well.  Looking to send gifts to a multitude of people?  We’d love to work with you on obtaining a spreadsheet of addresses to save you time on entering individual addresses for online orders.  Just contact us to get started on a large order and we’ll coordinate direct shipping to any number of addresses.

Can I request my order arrive at a late date?

We offer a date request option during the checkout process where you can specify what date you would like your gift to arrive.  Please know that we make every effort to ensure that orders are delivered or shipped to arrive on the date requested.  There are occasionally delays beyond our control with USPS, UPS, and FedEx that could result in a package not arriving on the date specified and we are not responsible for delays as we cannot guarantee arrival unless we are personally delivering locally.  If you are concerned that a gift must absolutely arrive by a specific date, we encourage you to ship to arrive earlier and/or choose FedEx Priority Overnight service as we have found it to be the most reliable service.

Can you ship Internationally?

We ship to Canada and some countries outside the United States, but currently do not have the ability to take orders online for all international shipments.  Shipping charges are significantly higher for international shipments and some countries do not accept certain imports.  To inquire about a specific country, please email us at with the suggested shipping location and product desired.

If I am ordering a gift, will my recipient see how much I paid for it?

Don’t worry, we never include pricing details with shipments.
