Bourbon
Now Dad can have the smooth taste of Bourbon in a unique way through Apple Bourbon Jam spread over fluffy buttermilk biscuits, Bourbon BBQ seasoning that adds a bold flavor to the grill, Bourbon Pecan granola for the perfect snack, and an award winning Bourbon Brittle to satisfy any man's sweet tooth.
Bacon
Our Artisan Snack Box includes five great tastes from Nashville including Wildflower Honey Shortbread cookies, Prohibition Popcorn, stone ground chocolate, teriyaki beef jerky, and Bacon Brittle.....yes, BACON brittle! If your Dad likes Bacon, he's going to love this perfect blend of sweet, smokey, and savory.
BBQ
Barbecues are a Summers staple for Dads everywhere. A grill, some good sauce, and the perfect seasoning blend will turn burgers, chicken, pork, and more into a mouth watering backyard BBQ experience.
Brunch
Most Father's don't ask for much in return for all the sacrifices they make along the way, but don't they deserve a little pampering of their own sometimes? Spending time with Dad over brunch seems like the perfect gift to us and Nashville has some of the best brunch options around. You might even be able to squeeze in a little Bourbon, Bacon & BBQ into your brunch for the ultimate Father's Day gift food experience. Here are a few of our top recommendations for places to take Dad this year:
1. Tavern - This Midtown bar and restaurant has been one of the top spots for weekend brunch for years and there's a reason it's still a popular spot. The food is good, there's a full bar, a patio, and TVs everywhere so you can catch the game while you're catching up over brunch. Try the Cheddar Cheese Biscuits with chorizo gravy, the Nooner, or the Tavern Burger.
2. Chauhan Ale and Masala House - This unexpected brunch spot is one of the best brunch menus in town for true foodies. Inspired by Executive Chef Maneet Chauhan’s Indian roots, and her love for Southern cuisine, this is a unique brunch selection, but you won't regret anything on the menu. Try the "What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg?", Elvis' Favorite waffles, Bacon Chicken Deviled Eggs, and don't leave without the Stop Monkeying Around bread that tastes like dessert for brunch.
3. Etc. - One of the few really great places to eat in Green Hills, this new spot from Chef Deb Paquette is intimate and casual and still a bit upscale. Dad will love the classic Bistro Steak and Eggs with fried potato salad and don't miss out on the sour cream coffee cake.
4. Saint Anejo - If Mexican food is more his speed, the perfect blend of brunch items and Mexican inspired food flavors coupled with a fantastic atmosphere can be found at Saint Anejo each weekend. You can't go wrong with a single item on the menu, they've got a fantastic bar, and they have a great patio for when the weather is perfect for outdoor seating.
Of course Nashville is filled with great brunch spots and if you're ambitious, maybe you want to even try your own hand at making Dad a Father's Day brunch at home so he never even has to put on real pants! Because isn't that the dream?
Whatever you decide to do this Father's Day, know that if you're lucky enough to have a great Dad, you should celebrate him, say "thank you", and embrace the gift of time well spent with him whenever possible.
To Father's everywhere, Happy Father's Day from Nashville, Tennessee!
